About Granado
Founded in 1870 by the Portuguese José Coxito Granado, the Granado story began by selling natural remedies created from plants, herbs and flowers native to his home, in Rio de Janeiro’s mountainous region. The brand’s first store was established in the heart of downtown Rio de Janeiro, where the historic shop still stands today.
The quality and effectiveness of the products soon made Granado one of the official pharmaceutical suppliers to the Royal Court. For that reason, the brand was given the title of ‘Official Pharmacy of the Imperial Family of Brazil’ by the Emperor D. Pedro II, in 1880.
Emblematic in its country of origin, Granado has been passed down through the generations and is part of the Brazilian heritage.
With 153 years of history in Brazil, Granado is expanding overseas. The brand currently has stores in France, England, Portugal, and Belgium and a remarkable presence at the most iconic department stores such as Galleries Lafayette and BHV Marais.
About the Position
Fragrance Sales Associate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional and consistent customer experiences that positively impact sales growth in their store, and contribute to the dissemination of the brand, its history, and products, to develop sales and build customer loyalty.
This position maintains a high degree of client engagement in accordance with brand principles providing and encouraging an elevated and inspirational customer experience.
Responsibilities & Tasks
* Deliver exceptional in-store shopping experiences.
* Welcome the customer, analyze his request, detect their expectations for assertive advice.
* Present the history of the brand and explain the characteristics and specificities of the products.
* Build a highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, uncovering needs, making product recommendations, and gathering customer information to support continued engagement.
* Reinforce customer buying decisions at checkout.
* Carry out product exchanges, cleaning of your department, window changes, visual presentation and marketing placement as needed.
* Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by store manager.
Some of the skills needed for this role are
* Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
* Commitment to drive sales growth.
* Customer relationship and sales loyalty.
* Experience in trade.
* A first experience in Cosmetics/Beauty/Fragrances would be a plus.
* Fluent in English and Portuguese, other language would be a plus.
* Ability to work on a schedule may vary based on business needs.
* Must be able to provide eligibility to work in London-UK.
