We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our clients operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, contractors, and clients on site.
4 days on 4 days off
7am - 7pm
£35,501 per annum
You will be responsible for access control, site patrols, incident reporting, and ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and deliveries
* Provide a courteous and professional concierge-style service
* Adhere strictly to all site security procedures and protocols
* Conduct regular foot patrols and monitor CCTV systems
* Perform static and mobile guarding duties for extended periods, including in inclement weather
* Report suspicious behavior or security concerns promptly to the Operations Manager
* Accurately record incidents, accidents, near misses, and daily activities in log sheets
* Handle deliveries and access control in line with established procedures
* Support wider site operations as required
* Communication & Compliance
* Maintain confidentiality of all company, visitor, and operational data in line with GDPR
* Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
* Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure site safety and compliance
Essential
* Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence
Desirable
* CCTV Licence
* Fire Marshal qualification
* First Aid qualification
