Reach Manager
Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Reach Managerto join our Middle East team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £41,650 – 56,350 per annum depending on experience.

As Reach Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in leading the design, planning, execution, and follow-up of Reach deployments in the Middle East and surrounding regions. This person ensures that participants receive high-quality training, safety support, field experience, and ongoing engagement — all while aligning fundraising expectations and brand values. They will also monitor impact, improve processes, and grow the programme in the region.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Reach Manager:
7. Number of successful deployments completed per year.
8. Participant satisfaction scores (survey feedback).
9. Percentage of participants meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
10. Growth in alumni engagement, retention, and conversion to long-term supporters or ambassadors.
11. Quality of reporting: timely, transparent, and actionable lessons learned.
12. Safety record (incidents, adherence to protocols).
What we’re looking for in our Reach Manager:
13. Education:
Strong project management skills, with ability to track many moving parts. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills (able to mentor, coach, support diverse participants). Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, risk mitigation, and humanitarian ethics. Flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and resilience in challenging environments. Ability to travel frequently and lead field missions.
14. Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in humanitarian field programmes, volunteer management, or deployment coordination. Experience in international travel, field operations, and working in volatile or resource-constrained settings.
15. Skills: MS Office Suite
16. Languages: Proficiency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written).
17. Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector
