We’re looking for a Strategy and Commercialisation Lead to work directly with these cleantech pioneers to lead projects that define markets, guide investment, and enable technology adoption worldwide.
Your Role
You’ll lead strategy engagements end-to-end, from shaping project scope to delivering final insights. You’ll mentor junior consultants and collaborate across the Helixos team on commercialisation, communications, and technical advisory.
Your core responsibilities will include:
* Lead complex strategy and commercialisation projects across multiple sectors
* Develop technology roadmaps and market-entry strategies for cleantech innovation, especially in nuclear energy and fusion
* Engage with global clients and stakeholders, from government departments to startup founders
* Guide team members, project manage delivery, and ensure client outcomes are met
* Support clients through their commercialisation journey, from ideation to go-to-market
* Represent Helixos with thought leadership and partnership-building across the cleantech ecosystem, especially in nuclear energy and fusion
Requirements
* Bring a technical background (engineering, physics, or applied sciences), ideally in energy or adjacent sectors
* Can zoom out to macro trends and zoom in to identify actionable commercial paths
* Thrive in a fast-paced, remote team across multiple time zones
* Care about sustainability, energy, and the long-term future of the planet
* Are an excellent communicator with executive presence and clear writing skills
* Have strong project management experience, balancing client needs and internal workflows
* Pay attention to the cultural zeitgeist in technology, startups, and policy, and have an instinct for where the world might be heading
Bonus if you have:
* Experience in the nuclear/fusion sector
* Strong grasp of what it takes to turn technical innovation into viable, scalable solutions in complex, regulated markets
* Business development experience or a strong network in the energy innovation ecosystem
This position is open to individuals who are eligible for employment in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
