Key Responsibilities
* Manage large and complex heritage projects, monitoring progress and expenditure
* Develop heritage impact assessments and obtain Listed Building Consents
* Prepare and oversee designs and reports
* Conduct surveys according to firm procedures
* Represent the firm at client meetings and presentations
* Monitor daily programming and planning
* Control internal costs and prepare fee invoices
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Check documents and reports as appropriate
About You
To be considered, you must:
* Have a strong interest in traditional and historic buildings
* Experience working in heritage and culture sectors, with Grade I and scheduled ancient monuments
* Excellent technical knowledge, including administration of building contracts (e.g., NEC PSC)
* Experience delivering heritage projects within occupied sites and visitor attractions
* In-depth knowledge of heritage and planning legislation and processes
Desirable qualifications include:
* IHBC membership or working towards it
* RICS conservation accreditation or working towards it
* Experience with heritage organizations like English Heritage, National Trust, or within a World Heritage Site
* Relevant conservation/heritage degree or qualification
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
