Barker Ross are seeking a dedicated Production Hygienist - Cleaner, to oversee the hygiene and sanitation processes for our client based in Desborough. You will be working Monday to friday 05:30am to 13:30pm The successful candidate will ensure all hygiene protocols are strictly followed to maintain product quality and comply with food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Sanitation & Cleaning: Oversee daily and deep-cleaning activities in production and packing zones. Ensure hygienic handling of products during primary and secondary packaging. Monitor cleaning and sanitising of equipment like flow wrappers, conveyors, heat sealers, and packing lines. Maintain hygiene zoning (e.g., high-care, low-care areas) to prevent cross-contamination. Hygiene Inspections & Monitoring: routine inspections of production, packaging, and storage areas for hygiene compliance. Perform surface swabs and environmental monitoring (e.g., air, hands, contact surfaces). Monitor temperature, humidity, and cleanliness in chocolate storage and handling zones. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate cleaning records, hygiene checklists, and deviation logs. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FSSAI, ISO 22000, and internal audit protocols.
