Fire Door Maintenance Operative

Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £40, per annum + benefits
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7am 5pm
About the Role
Join Equans as a Fire Door Maintenance Operative and play a key role in protecting people by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire doors to the highest safety standards. Youll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure risks are managed proactively. Reporting to the Fire Door Supervisor, youll plan your work safely, adhere to policies and H&S regulations, and support a strong team environment.

Who You Are
10. Experienced in fire door inspection, maintenance & repairs
11. Holds recognized Fire Door Inspection qualifications (e.g., FDIS, BRE)
12. Knowledgeable in health and safety legislation (SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH)
13. Confident and professional communicator
14. Able to work independently and manage your workload
15. Comfortable using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office for reporting and administration
