We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager working across the East Midlands to join a UK leading contractor working on fibre /telecomms related projects. This is a chance to join an exciting, forward thinking and rapidly expanding company. This is a challenging but rewarding role, with the opportunity to grow with the business.
Key Essentials
* Reporting to the Contract Manager, responsible for monitoring high volume PIA FTTH projects on existing / new network build involving civils, underground fibre (cabling / splicing) and overhead pole works
* Overseeing the management of Supervisors, staff and subcontractors
* Ensuring all works are completed within Health, Safety, Quality and Streetwork guidelines
* Managing KPI’s and the productivity of staff
* Ensuring that schemes are delivered within tight timeframes and budgets
* Holding regular review meetings with subcontractors; ensuring that they are completing allocated work accordingly
* Key contact in liaising with the client whilst conducting regular progress meetings
Requirements
* Project Management experience of high volume PIA / Openreach FTTH projects
* Telecoms network build experience
* Civils experience
* Methodical operational experience with good man-management skills
* First Aid –
* CSCS Card
* Clean driving licence
