We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our Asbestos section.

The Quality Assurance Administrator is a valued member of City Building’s Asbestos Survey section providing administrative expertise and support in relation to the delivery of services in line with business needs. Your work will involve assisting the Asbestos Survey Technical Manager in the production and distribution of Asbestos Survey reports to Clients and uploading asbestos data to the WHG PIMMS asbestos database.

You will liaise closely with the team of Asbestos Surveyors and other Administrative Staff to ensure surveys are arranged efficiently and safely and that the data gathered (including bulk sample results) is collected, quality checked and sent to Clients as quickly as possible.

This is a key role in the delivery of an effective, integrated and efficient Asbestos section. You will develop an overall knowledge of City Building, which strives to deliver excellent customer service to our clients – and play a lead role in liaising between Clients, Surveyors and the Asbestos Management team.

You will ideally have proven experience working within a busy team and be accustomed to working to tight deadlines. You will have a positive approach to problem solving and have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills including arranging jobs with Tenants and Customers and dealing with Client requests, complaints and queries. You must be confident dealing with Surveyor’s queries, pointing out errors or omissions, and knowledgeable about the type of work they are carrying out.

You will be required to have a flexible approach to this role. Your contracted hours of work will be 35 hours per week to be worked to suit the needs of the business.
