Job Description:
We are seeking to appoint a Registered Nurse to join our team at Formby Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built facility in Formby, Merseyside. The home provides care to 76 residents with various needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. We focus on high standards of safety, comfort, and care, meeting all CQC requirements. Our investment in the home includes award-winning activities and wellbeing programs, electronic medication records, acoustic monitoring, and silent nurse call systems. We pride ourselves on a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care, paid at or above the national living wage.
Role Responsibilities:
* Promote the highest standard of person-centred clinical nursing care to residents.
* Manage, allocate duties, and supervise the care team to ensure quality care delivery during shifts.
* Demonstrate professional and person-centred care delivery.
* Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting residents' welfare.
* Manage delivery of personalised care according to individual care plans.
* Support professional standards within the home and support the Deputy and Home Manager.
* Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to care staff.
* Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
* Maintain accurate records as required by regulations.
* Manage rotas and delegate workload ensuring safe staffing levels.
* Complete new admission files within the first week, involving relevant staff.
* Build relationships with external professionals.
* Assist in conducting quality audits of care plans.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience in Elderly care is essential.
* Registered Nurse with a valid PIN.
* Knowledge of care for older people and supervising care staff.
* Professional appearance and manner.
* Ability to motivate and coordinate a team.
* Ability to prioritise and handle emergencies effectively.
