Duties
* Assist in the preparation of food items under the guidance of chefs and kitchen staff.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks as needed.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
* Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting any shortages.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
* Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness standards.
