So, what’s the role all about?
The Cloud Systems Engineer manages, deploys and maintains NICE's production systems, virtualization, SAN, Public Cloud and other supporting environments. The Cloud Systems Engineer will also be responsible for managing, deploying and maintaining our lab environment. The candidate would work as a lead on projects that are across multiple groups.

1. Manage and deploy Windows Domain and Active Directory environment
2. Deploy Servers
3. Deploy and Manage Public Cloud Compute and Storage Set up and maintain server system and file security
4. Manage Lab and Production Infrastructure
5. Performing OS level Patching
6. Performing Systems and Hardware Level Upgrades
7. Deploy, Configure and Maintain Physical Storage (SAN)
8. Monitor and optimize performance of servers
9. Manage Virtualization Environments
10. Maintain documentation of Environment and Processes
11. Work with vendors to troubleshoot problems and RMA parts as needed
12. Manage and deploy Linux server installations
13. Participating in an on call rotation
Have you got what it takes?
14. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience required.
15. Experience Leading Projects and Delivering Solutions Through Completion
16. 2+ years working in a Public Cloud environment
17. 3+ years managing and deploying Windows OS Servers preferably in a production environment
18. 3+ years managing and deploying Windows domains, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and IIS
19. 3+ years performing and management of OS patching
20. 3+ years installing/configuring server hardware and OS
21. 5+ years managing and deploying virtual environments
22. 2+ years managing physical storage and SAN
23. 3+ years managing and deploying blade servers/Enterprise Compute
24. 3+ years hands on experience with engineering operations or enterprise operations
25. Experience successfully working in fast paced, production environments
26. Experience working within a team of IT professionals; taking and following direction and completing tasks and assignments in a timely manner with a positive attitude
27. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
28. Must have good attention to detail, and the ability to make good, timely decisions
29. Be a Team-player, have a positive attitude and able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zones
30. Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and SNMP
31. Be a self-starter who is proactive, motivated and can work independently
32. Experience with Chef or similar technologies
You will have an advantage if you also have:
33. Configuration and management of HP Enterprise Servers and/or Cisco UCS
34. Experience working with config management and automation technologies
35. Comfortable working with changing timelines and deadlines
36. Experience working with CloudFormation
37. Experience with Linux Server deployment and administration
38. Experience working in a global production environment
