M&E Engineering Supervisor – Canary Wharf – 60K
We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a prestigious, high-end residential estate in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader who can manage a small team while maintaining exceptional standards across landlord and tenant services.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Building Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day engineering operations across a premium residential estate, including some mixed-use elements. You’ll lead a team of engineers, ensuring all maintenance is delivered to a high standard while keeping the team motivated, accountable, and performing effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support a team of on-site engineers
* Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
* Ensure landlord services are maintained to a high standard, with tenant works managed and quoted correctly
* Act as the technical lead on site, supporting fault finding and complex issues
* Drive performance, standards, and accountability within the engineering team
* Liaise closely with the Building Manager and wider estate team
About You
* Strong technical background in either high-end residential or premium commercial environments with previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineering role
* Apprenticeship or higher qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
* Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SSSTS, or NEBOSH) preferred.
* Proven ability to lead in-house teams and external contractors, maintaining compliance and service excellence.
* Strong working knowledge of statutory systems (L8, EICR, SFG20, LOLER, PUWER, building regulations).
* Experience using CAFM systems and reactive maintenance systems.
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proactive, hands-on, and able to lead from the front
The Package
* Salary: £60,000
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
