Senior Herdsperson – Regenerative Farming - Dairy Sheep – Spain – Basic Salary Circa €60, + Newly Refurbished 3 Bed Farmhouse
The Job:
This is a truly unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Herdsperson or Farm Manager to play a pivotal role in the regeneration of a newly acquired farm located in Spain. The successful candidate will take the lead in developing a pasture-based dairy sheep operation from the ground up, with –1, head planned over the next 18–24 months.
You’ll be instrumental in establishing herd management protocols, overseeing animal health and welfare, and shaping a sustainable, regenerative farming model. Longer term, the project will expand to include cheese production facilities, opening additional exciting avenues for collaboration and growth.

The Candidate:
- Fluent Spanish speaker – essential
- Practical experience with livestock – ideally dairy sheep or goats, open to dairy cows or sheep (mutton)
- Strong understanding of pasture-based farming systems (non-intensive)
- Hands-on expertise in day-to-day herd care, breeding, feeding, health monitoring and pasture management
- A farm manager mindset – able to take initiative, plan ahead, and help build a farm from the ground up
- Passionate about sustainable farming and regenerative agriculture
- Confident working independently and ready to lead as the operation grow
