Overview
Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist B8A role at NHS Scotland. A permanent 1 WTE position within the Leverndale Adult Inpatient Psychology Service, providing a high quality psychology service to patients in the Acute Admission wards, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, and inpatient Rehabilitation Service.
Responsibilities include psychological assessment and intervention for service patients, delivery of evidence-based psychological therapy groups, provision of consultation to multidisciplinary teams, and provision of reflective practice, training, and supervision to multidisciplinary staff. You will be supervised and line managed by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and will be part of the South Glasgow Psychology Department with access to CPD opportunities. You will be required to provide clinical placements to trainees undertaking the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology; therefore you will have completed, or be eligible for, formal supervision training recognised by the DClinPsy programme. Qualifications

* Experience as a clinical or counselling psychologist with current registration and eligibility for NHS appointments (trainee psychologists who are due to qualify soon are welcome to apply).
