Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated evening care assistant to join our team, to work from 5pm until 10pm and who is also medication trained. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for providing high-quality care to seniors. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in our care home.
Duties
* Provide personal care assistance and assisting residents to bed.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
* Assist with mobility and physical activities, as required.
* Good record keeping on care plans.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals for case management and continuity of care.
Skills
* Trained in medication, manual handling and basic first aid.
* Experience in nursing homes or care homes is highly desirable.
* Strong background in senior care, including patient care techniques.
* Ability to work effectively within a team while also being self-motivated.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
