Overview
Governance Officer sought by a regional housing association in Northern England for a temporary 3-6 month contract. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Attend three committees (Customer Insight and two others) and provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to Governance and Compliance functions.
* Lead scheduling of all meetings and awaydays; collate and publish meeting packs.
* Take minutes for the Board, all subsidiaries, board committees, Health and Safety Committee, and Data Steering Committee.
* Support Board Members including induction, appraisals, DOIs, maintenance of contact records, training and development, expenses and IT queries.
* Maintain the Board portal and administer user support.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in Social Housing.
* Governance administration and management of governance compliance processes.
* Experience in preparing Board packs and other governance documents.
* Ability to improve administrative systems and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Working Hours and Working Arrangements
* 35 hours per week.
* Hybrid working with on-site attendance once a week.
* Flexible working days.
