Job Brief
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. This role is key in ensuring the right products are available at the right time to support our customers and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the forecasting and purchasing of our product range, including import orders and in-house production.
* Ensure stock availability targets are achieved while maintaining optimal stock levels.
* Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, terms, and lead times.
* Monitor demand patterns and sales performance across products and categories to support accurate forecasting.
* Work closely with internal teams (sales, operations, and warehouse) to align supply with demand.
* Provide a quick and effective responses to the internal sales team to help meet customer requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within the supply chain.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a buying, procurement, or supply chain role, including import forecasting and managing overseas suppliers.
* Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication skills.
* Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
