Job Description
3. Monthly management accounts including financial accounts reconciliation.
4. Implementation of effective financial strategies to ensure company growth.
5. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
6. Overseeing and managing company financial systems and budgets.
7. Managing statutory and corp tax audit with external auditors.
8. Business partner with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
9. Assisting with budgets and forecasts.
10. Closing month end
11. Analysing costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
12. Developing trends and projections for the firm's finances.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
13. A qualified accountant ACCA/ACA or CIMA
14. Will consider candidates straight from Audit currently in practice
15. Must be excellent user of excel including: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Sum IF, SUM IFs, index match and Sum product.
16. Technically very strong.
17. Strong attention to detail is a must.
18. Expertise in financial data analysis and forecasting.
19. Strong understanding of accounting systems and procedures.
20. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
