The role
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager / Non-Working Supervisor to oversee a major electrical infrastructure package on a prestigious new Technology Institute development in Oxford. The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have. The project involves the installation and termination of several thousand metres of SWA sub-main cabling, ranging from 4 Core 25mm to 4 Core 240mm . Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise day-to-day site operations and electrical installation teams. Oversee SWA cable installation works and ensure delivery to programme. Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors. Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance. Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and site inspections. Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and project stakeholders. Monitor progress and maintain accurate project records and reporting. Requirements Proven experience in construction project management or non-working electrical supervision. Strong background in commercial or industrial electrical installations. Experience managing SWA cable and sub-main infrastructure projects. SMSTS preferred. ECS/CSCS card required. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office. Ability to manage works within a live construction environment. Package Approx. 5-month contract.
