P.E. Technician

Salary Surrey Grade S4 pro-rata rate
18 hours per week term time only (39 weeks)
Starting salary £10,442 (actual pro-rated salary)
Plus 12 hours per week cover or LSA
Starting salary £ 6,961 (actual pro-rated salary)
Total starting salary 5 days per week, 39 weeks per year £17,403

We require an enthusiastic and conscientious person to work in our busy, successful P.E. department where teamwork is essential. The P.E. Technician will assist the P.E. Department in practical and administrative tasks. These will include:
1. Preparing and maintaining equipment/resources for lessons
2. Placing orders
3. Assisting in the promotion of sporting success/upcoming events and basic supervision of students in sports orientated activities if required.
4. Being part of the Team.
A sports background/coaching qualifications in a variety of sports is preferable. With a degree, this role is a great way into teaching, especially combined with work as a cover supervisor or LSA..
