About The Role
As a Head Chef at HC One, you will value kindness above all, which is central to our care homes for Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care. Your responsibilities include managing the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals that cater to cultural preferences and dietary requirements. You will oversee food stock management, optimize budgets, and liaise with support teams to ensure nutrition standards are met, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
Qualifications and Skills
* S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
* Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
* Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
* Positive energy and ability to get along with people
* Organized, autonomous, and able to follow recipes accurately
* Considerate and kind communication skills
