Our Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an exceptional Civil Engineer to work across a range of projects within our thriving Civil Engineering team in Leicester.
Working closely with the team, you will support the management and delivery of diverse projects including health, education, commercial, custodial, and residential sectors. Discover our projects here.
As a Civil Engineer, you will assist in preparing technical specifications, reports, and designs for various projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will also conduct technical and quality reviews, attend design meetings, and visit sites as needed.
Our Civil Engineering discipline offers a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate can expect hands-on guidance and opportunities for career development, including the possibility to achieve chartered status with mentorship and access to workshops and seminars.
About You
You will be a knowledgeable Civil Engineer with relevant experience and a desire to learn and progress within the industry.
Our Ideal Civil Engineer Must Have
* A degree or equivalent in civil engineering, working towards a professional qualification.
* Relevant experience in UK development projects, applying engineering and design standards from feasibility to construction.
* Proficiency with industry-standard design software.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative working.
It Would Be Nice For You To Have
* The motivation to undertake CPD and enhance skills and knowledge.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of different contract types.
* Strong problem-solving skills and accountability for assigned tasks.
* Good report writing and presentation skills at project level.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
