Group Accountant – 12 month FTC - Chester - Hybrid working

. Global business in Chester is recruiting a 12-month Group Accountant FTC. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in their UK Head Office
Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll work closely and collaboratively with the international finance team and the UK commercial team. Job duties will include :
Prepare monthly management accounts for Group entities Support the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting packs for the parent company Perform balance sheet reviews and reconciliations across group entries Support ongoing SOX compliance activities, liaising with internal and external auditors on the requirements Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting process for multiple entities Key point of contact for the external audit team Provide financial oversight for key capital and operational projects
What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with both technical and commercial awareness Available to start immediately, or at short notice
