We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Claims Advisor to manage a portfolio of fast-moving household claims. Responsibilities include advising policyholders, verifying coverage, gathering documentation, and ensuring smooth claim progression from start to settlement. Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise tasks in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a portfolio of household claims, responding to policyholder queries via claims portal or phone, providing full lifecycle claims handling, and acting as the primary contact.
2. Develop technical expertise within the claims team and assist in training development materials.
3. Build rapport with policyholders, actively listen, and ensure coverage and limits are correctly applied.
4. Work methodically through each claim, requesting necessary information and arranging payments within authority levels.
5. Proactively handle claims to ensure quick decisions and timely communication with policyholders.
6. Coordinate with internal teams, third-party suppliers, and policyholders to ensure smooth claim progression.
7. Contribute to process improvements and training materials.
8. Prioritise tasks effectively, manage multiple activities, and negotiate claim settlements both verbally and in writing.
9. Assist with overflow calls during peak times and seek continuous improvement in customer service delivery.
10. Maintain SLA and KPI standards and undertake any additional tasks as reasonably requested.
