I am currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join my client based in East Kilbride on a temporary contract initially, with scope to lead into a permanent role for the right candidate. You will work Monday -Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, and Friday 8am - 1.30pm This role is office based, with parking available on site and is also a local commutable walk from the local train station. The hourly rate for this position will be £12.60 per hour. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Handle incoming quotation requests and customer inquiries across multiple platforms, including email and customer portals Enter enquiries into the ERP system and prepare cost estimation sheets Organise and maintain storage of drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) related to each quotation Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and surface treatments Collaborate with technical estimators to finalise quotation pricing Submit quotations to customers via email or designated portals Generate sales orders based on confirmed purchase orders Prepare presentations for board meetings Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures Perform general administrative tasks Ensure accurate filing and storage of drawings and documents for each purchase order Issue work orders and compile job packets, including Route Cards, Drawings, and Purchase Orders Procure materials from suppliers in line with project requirements Participate in meetings as needed Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the Line Manager If you are available to work immediately or within 1 week, then please apply now or message me for further details on (url removed) Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
