ThisroleispivotalinsupportingtheCouncilsfinancialrecoverybyensuringthatallpropertytransactionsaredeliveredefficiently,achievebestconsideration,andcomplywithstatutory,regulatory,andgovernancerequirements.
Thepostholderwillworkcloselywithinternalandexternallegaladvisors,appointedpropertyagents,andservicedepartmentstoensuredisposalsaremanagedfrominstructiontocompletioninaneffective,transparent,andcommerciallyastutemanner.
KeyResponsibilities ?PropertyDueDiligence&Assessment UndertakeacomprehensivereviewoftheCouncilspropertyportfoliotoidentifyopportunitiesfordisposal,rationalisation,orredevelopment.
Collate,analyse,andverifypropertydata,includingtitleinformation,tenancyschedules,covenants,access,planningstatus,andconstraints.
Carryoutsiteinspections,desktopappraisals,andvaluationassessmentstoinformdecision-making.
Prepareassetdisposalrecommendationswithsupportingevidencetoensuredecisionsarerobust,transparent,andcompliant.
?DisposalProcessManagement Leadtheend-to-enddisposalprocessfrominstructiontocompletion,ensuringallstepsarecompletedinaccordancewiththeCouncilsprocurementandgovernanceframeworks.
Liaisewithexternalpropertyagentsandensuremarketingstrategiesareappropriate,effective,anddeliverable.
Coordinatewithlegalteamstoensureduediligence,documentation,andcontractsarecompletedtoahighstandardandwithinagreedtimelines. xjlbheb
Prepareandmaintaindetaileddisposaltrackers,financialforecasts,andperformancereports.
