We are working with an energy start-up whose mission is to make energy cleaner and promote sustainable practices that benefit the planet. They are looking for a Software Engineer to build and enhance their web applications. You’ll play a pivotal role in writing clear, responsive code, taking ownership of the UI, and applying a strong understanding of mobile-first design principles.
What you’ll be doing:
* Use customer Feedback to develop the UI
* Work with other software engineers to ensure seamless integration with services and APIs
* Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs, performance issues
What we’re looking for:
* 3+ years’ commercial Software engineer experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a small team.
Nice to have:
* Experience with Python, Postgres, REST APIs, or other backend frameworks
* Knowledge/ previous use of AI to aid with timing and planning
* Experience in start-up environments is preferred but not essential
* Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite), Git, or (Docker).
* Salary Up to £50,000
* Hybrid workingin Bristol Area – onsite Mon & Thurs
