*About the role*
Bespoke Guardians is looking for a Deputy Manager for our complex care service (CQC) to help provide best-in-class care and support for children and young people who may have complex behaviours and needs. We are seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee the daily operational needs for our HCA team and supporting the Manager in ensuring regulatory requirements and standards are met and sustained. You will be working closely with relevant professional agencies to ensure high standards of support is delivered using a multi-agency approach.
The ideal candidate will have extensive understanding of the challenges that this role entails but also understands the rewards that comes along with it.
*You will need to have:*
* A strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
* A level 3 in health and social care or equivalent in children and young people services.
* Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000) and regulatory frameworks such as CQC - with experience of the inspection process.
* Strong leadership skills with a capacity to inspire and motivate others. Ideally you will hold, or are working towards a Level 4 in Leadership and Management, or equivalent.
* The ability to motivate and develop staff teams, promoting and acting as a role model for our Values.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A full driving licence is preferred.
*Responsibilities will include:*
* Supporting the manager in leading a team of HCA staff to deliver exceptional care services
* Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs and managing any documentation relating to the child's progress, incidents and safeguarding concerns/referrals.
* Overseeing compliance and ensure it meets CQC regulations.
* Providing reports to the service manager
* Coordinating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care of our young people.
* Maintaining and fostering a safe and supportive environment for each child.
* Managing and completing administrative tasks related to the day to day service
* Supporting the manager in managing staff and overseeing day-to-day operations
* Conducting regular audits in compliance with regulatory standards and identify any areas of improvement.
