Contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment and fit-out projects across London and the South East seek an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to oversee a £4m refurbishment scheme from pre-construction through to handover.
Working closely with the Directors, you will oversee all site operations, manage subcontractors, control programme and budget, and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained throughout.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the project from mobilisation to completion

Develop, manage, and monitor the project programme
*
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour
*
Chair site meetings and report progress to Directors
*
Ensure works are delivered to specification, on time and within budget
*
Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow
*
Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor on valuations and final accounts
*
Ensure compliance with all statutory health and safety regulations
*
Oversee RAMS and ensure site documentation is up to date
*
Ensure works meet contractual and regulatory requirements
*
Act as the primary point of contact for the client and consultants
*
Provide clear and regular progress updates
Requirements
*
Proven experience managing refurbishment projects c£2m–£5m
*
Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing
*
Experience working within a small to medium-sized contractor environment
*
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
*
Strong commercial awareness
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card preferred), and First Aid
*
Proficient in MS Project or similar planning software
*
Proactive and solution-focused
