Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the role will encompass a full suite of management accounts processes and procedures, from day to day transactional processing of supplier invoices, expenses, bank reconciliation and customer invoice raising to month end reporting, balance sheet ownership, VAT submission and adhoc reporting for management teams.
Full training and support will be given on all systems used by the business, but experience with Xero would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing of supplier invoices and expenses
Ensuring payment on time as per payment terms
Raising of customer invoices and ensuring payment received on time
Bank reconciliation
Accruals & prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliation
Monthly management accounts
VAT submission and payment
HMRC reporting
Working across 2 companies and consolidation for board reporting
Adhoc reporting across both revenue and expenditure
Skill, Qualification, Characteristics:
Attention to details is a critical part of this role and the candidate needs to be able to demonstrate previous experience
CIMA or ACCA part qualified with funding provided for completion of studies
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
