Maintenance ElectricianDerry / Londonderry £41,500 plus benefitsAn opportunity is available for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a busy engineering team within a safety-critical environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and ensuring compliance of electrical systems, plant and equipment, while supporting efficient site operations.Key Responsibilities*Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections and fault finding across site plant and equipment.*Ensure all electrical systems and documentation are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.*Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime.*Identify electrical faults and safety risks, implementing corrective actions where required.*Prioritise and schedule maintenance activities in line with operational requirements.*Coordinate with OEMs and external contractors when necessary.*Install, relocate and decommission machinery and carry out minor electrical installations (e.g. lighting circuits).*Maintain accurate records using asset management systems and complete all required documentation.*Provide support across mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems where required.*Mentor apprentices and provide on-the-job training and guidance.*Participate in out-of-hours and weekend engineering cover as part of a rota.Essential Criteria*Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).*Proven experience in maintenance, fault finding and repair of industrial electrical systems.*Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and safe systems of work.*Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.*Full driving licence or access to suitable transport.For more information on this role contact Zoey at Cpl Skills:Maintenance Engineer Facilities Engineer Electrical EngineerWHJS1_NI
