CNC Lathe Programmer to join a machining company based in Telford. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming machines from drawings, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality components for a range of industries. Main Duties:
* Program, set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc /Siemens /Mazatrol - depending on machines used)
* Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering instructions
* Work with a variety of metals and materials
* Carry out first-off inspections and use measuring equipment to check first offs and periodic monitoring
* Adjust tooling, offsets and machine settings to optimise production efficiency
* Responsible for proper operation of machines and tool / jig fixing
* Work as part of a team to support a busy production area
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator
* Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol desirable)
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to read technical drawings and programming from drawings
Current or recent experience as lathe programmer, CNC programmer, programmer turner, CNC Machinist

* Day shift and early finish Friday - no weekends / there is another shift available working 4 x 10 hours Mon - Thurs (4 day weekend every week)
