Principal Design Engineer — Permanent Position — Monday to Thursday 8–4:45 / Early finish Friday — Coventry
Responsibilities
* Overseeing and leading the design and maintenance of world leading engineering systems for automotive applications.
* Leading the development of new technologies and new products in line with the company NPI requirements
* Conducting vehicle, component and sub system testing as required. Defining technical specifications and appropriate test plans.
* Supporting DFM activities, ensuring designs are the most efficient, cost effective production methods
* Leading a team of 5 technical engineers in developing and producing OEM components and products
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Proven man management experience
* Automotive industry experience would be advantageous
