What You’ll Do At Synthesia
* Work end‑to‑end on our client application written in React and a monolithic backend in Python, and manage safe releases of features to customers.
* Own projects that span months, breaking problems into deliverable, iterative steps.
* Collaborate directly with the product manager, ideate, and shape the product direction.
* Evaluate your own work using our data vend pipeline and frameworks to measure impact and pivot when needed surface.
* Consider the longЯvoid‑term direction of the team, building engineering capabilities to stay ahead of future challenges.
What We’re Looking For
* At least seven years of software engineering experience, including three years at a senior/lead level.
* Experience in a high‑performing engineering team operating at scale.
* Cross‑stack knowledge with deep client‑side UI expertise; front‑end only experience is acceptable if willing to help with back‑end occasionally.
* Relevant experience building enterprise‑grade SaaS products that deliver AI‑powered video generation, billing systems, experimentation platforms, video delivery systems, online editors, real‑time collaboration, and so on.
* Strong alignment with commercial success.
* Previous leadership experience of smaller teams is a plus.

* Remote role from EU country, UK or Switzerland.
* Base salary of €100 000/£100 000/CHF 100 000 plus stock options.
* Full‑time employment only; contractors not accepted.
* 25 days annual leave + local holidays; no additional paid or unpaid leave.
