Description About the role As a Registered Theatre Nurse at Royston Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within our dynamic, high-performing team. Our facility includes seven operating theatres, offering a wide range of surgical specialties including Orthopaedics, General and Vascular Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Maxillofacial, Plastics, Ophthalmology, and Endoscopy. You’ll be joining a well-established and highly skilled workforce, with access to ongoing professional development and supportive to help you thrive in your role. Your practice will align with the Nursing Council of New Zealand's Code of Conduct and professional standards. This is a permanent position for 64 hours per fortnight and is located at Royston Hospital, Hastings. Skills And Experiences About you You will have excellent organisational skills, be flexible and open-minded, and successfully work within a team. You will also demonstrate and have the following skills and You are an adaptable, team-oriented professional with strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will also bring: Current New Zealand Nursing Council APC as a Registered Nurse Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a theatre setting (preferred) Proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating roles Committed to continuous quality improvement and personal development Leading through our values We are a values-driven organisation.
