Skills and Experience Required
* Experience working in a school environment
* Significant safeguarding and child protection experience
* Knowledge of issues affecting young people and providing supportive assistance
* Experience collaborating with agencies such as Social Care and NHS
* Management and coordination experience in safeguarding young people
* Recent experience working with children and families in the public, private, or voluntary sector
* Experience working with secondary age students
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Proficiency with ICT packages, including Microsoft Office
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Ability to relate to students in a sympathetic manner and identify safeguarding issues
