JOB TITLE: Estimating & Office Administrator LAWS
Hours: 08:30 to 17:00
LOCATION: Appleby
MAIN PURPOSE:
To carry out administrative duties for Land & Water Services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Estimating Support
2. Appleby Office Management
3. Administrative support to Managing Director
4. Administrative support to Pre-construction services
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support Estimating Manager in document control (downloading and filing of documents)
a. Administration of the EA's Atamis Portal (upload, download and circulation of information).
b. Administration of LAWS Estimating database and
c. Preparation and set up of tender return documents
d. Project example database management
1. LAWS Social Value database management
2. Administration and management of LAWS Case study/Project Sheets
3. Monitoring and management of L&W Enquiry email (Group distribution)
4. General office management (maintenance and upkeep management)
a. Stationery monitoring and ordering for Appleby offices
b. Ordering of kitchen consumables.
c. Monthly fire alarm testing.
d. Checking that fire extinguishers are in date – keep a spreadsheet with them all and diarize when they need replacing.
e. Fire Marshall – undertake refresher course
f. Keep records of PAT Testing carried out in the office on all electrical equipment and arrange for contractor to come in when re-testing is due.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills and Experience
· Previous administration experience
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Powerpoint/Excel)
· Good organisational skills
· Ability to work to unsupervised and meet deadlines
· Database knowledge/experience – data analysis/graphs etc

· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task
· Willingness to help in various departments as and when required
· Ability to remain calm under pressure
· Full UK Driving Licence
