Pump Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £43,000 per annum + Company Van

The Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation based in Sheffield. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary, company van, and long-term career stability.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of pumping systems across a range of industrial and utility environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, servicing, and repair of pumping systems
* Fault finding on pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and associated equipment
* Planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Commissioning of new pump installations
* Completion of service reports and job documentation
* Adherence to health, safety, and quality standards
* Professional interaction with customers and site teams
Skills & Experience Required
1. Proven experience as a Pump Engineer or Mechanical Engineer (pump systems)
2. Strong knowledge of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
3. Mechanical fitting experience (seals, bearings, couplings, ...
