We are working with an independent small animal hospital in Northwich who are looking for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time with shifts from 8am to 5pm, 10am to 7pm or 11am to 8pm. There is a shared weekend rota between the nursing team working 8am to 8pm with days off in lieu after working a weekend. There is also a week of overnight inpatient care from 8pm to 8am with the following week off. The nurses are responsible for in-patient care overnight and assisting the vet with any calls etc. If it is a quiet night or if there are no in-patients, then there is a crash room they can use to sleep. The practice shares all of the shifts between the whole nursing team across both of the sites to maintain a one team approach.
