Our Client based in Elland are currently looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Programmer/Operator to join their well established team. You would be joining the team on a permanent basis.
Shifts & salary:
* Monday to Friday
* 39 hours a week
* £16 - £17 per hour depending on experience - to be considered for the higher salary range you must have at least 2 years experience CNC turning, setting and operating.
Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for programming, setting and operating of turning machines.
* Programming to customer drawings.
* Ability to producing finished components to quality requirements.
* Working with Siemens controls.
* To attend and complete any training courses if required.
* Experience of working with small batches and single components.
* Can work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
Key requirements:
* Should have a strong background in CNC Turning using live tooling.
* Ideally apprentice trained.
* Must have previous experience of working with Siemens control.
* Able to work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
* Experience of various machine controls.
* Able to complete tasks using own initiative.
* Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls.
* Strong housekeeping and continuous improvement ethic.
* Strong team member and willing to assist wherever required.
* Honest and reliable.
