We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced nursery in Blackburn, seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

About the Role:
As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 2–5 in their early development. Working alongside qualified teachers and early years practitioners, you will assist in delivering a broad and balanced EYFS curriculum, supporting individual learning needs, and promoting a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Work with individual children and small groups to support learning, development, and wellbeing
* Assist with observations, assessments, and record keeping
* Contribute to the daily routines of the nursery, including hygiene, mealtimes, and outdoor play
* Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
* Recent experience working in an early years or nursery setting
* A sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
