The Role:
Our Assistant Stylists are key to the success of our Pets Grooming salons. You will deliver high standards of pet care while demonstrating basic technical skills related to grooming, including handling techniques, equipment use, and pre-grooming preparation.
We will provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver excellent service. You’ll enjoy a competitive pay rate and opportunities for growth through training, development, and skill-based pay enhancements.
We’re seeking individuals who are:
* Passionate about delivering excellent service.
* Flexible, with the ability to work a flexible shift pattern across 6 days a week (closed on Sundays). The minimum contract is 39 hours, but additional hours may be required during busy periods, absences, or holidays.
* Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment is desirable but not essential (please note that bathing and prepping your own dog does not qualify as professional experience). Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
* Familiar with working in target-driven environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
