Hours to be worked are flexible between the hours of 5- 9pm, 3 hours per evening Location: Llandudno Junction, Conwy Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour About the role: Personal assistant/support worker to work with a 25 year old lady with autism in the Llandudno Junction area. You will be required to support with some personal care, eating and drinking, paying due attention to any dietary requirements and interact with the lady through games, toys, music, songs, reading and other stimulating activities. Experience of working with people with autism desirable, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn is also acceptable, as training will be given. Task and duties, to include any or all the following: Assistance with personal care i.e. washing, dressing. Assistance with feeding; paying due attention to any dietary requirements. To encourage interaction, communication and motivation during play times through the aid of games, toys, music, songs, reading and other stimulating activities. To ensure a clean and safe environment, giving due regard to Health and Safety at all times Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
