Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Senior Finance Officer include, but may not be limited to:
3. Providing reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and other transnational processes in the month end process.
4. Working with system updates i.e. outstanding implementations, training and ongoing support.
5. Providing the contingent account i.e. banking and cash handling.
6. Completing monthly transfer process ensuring these are completed and logged.
7. Processing journals and Quarterly review and Generation of Yearly documentation.
8. Maintain and build rapport with budget holders and other employees providing financial advice and support where necessary.
9. Experience of preparation of accounts receivable invoices and recording income and aged debt.
The Successful Applicant
The successful a Senior Finance Officer should possess:
10. Not For Profit and Charities background/ experience.
11. AAT Qualification or Degree equivalent
12. Experience maintaining reconciliations and variance analysis
13. Exceptional IT skills
14. The ability to form and maintain positive relationships with a wide spectrum of people.
15. Proven experience within Finance.
16. Ability to commute to Salford.
