Community Sports Development Officer
Fixed Term, 12 hours per week, Full year.
Band 5: £28,598 to £31,022 pro‑rata. Pay Award Pending.
Position details: 12 hours per week, fixed term until 31 March 2027.
Key responsibilities: champion and develop community sports initiatives; create and facilitate diverse sport opportunities for young people; promote an inclusive environment; embed physical activity and school sport at the heart of the educational community; support School Games and school sport initiatives; engage stakeholders; empower students to develop life skills and teamwork.
Required commitments: safeguarding and welfare of children and young people; an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for all posts.
