Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited
Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Reservations
Agent with a passion for service excellence. You will report to
the Reservations Manager, supporting/working towards providing our
guests with memorable experiences of the city.
The Reservations Agent will:

Receive lodging
booking requests and enquiries daily via telephone, emails and chat, handling
in a professional and efficient manner
·
Ensuring that
accurate information is entered into the PMS’s (Property Management System) for
bookings
·
Manage all
enquiries in accordance with Company’s standards and procedures
·
Understand and
exhibit a clear and comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, the facilities and
the local area in order to exceed our guests' expectations when booking
·
Respond to and
deal with enquiries through all channels within the specified time limits for
the team
·
Work towards
maximising revenue through up-selling and cross-selling
·
Effectively
communicate with other departments
·
All other reasonable duties as directed by management
To be successful in the role of Reservations Agent, we
require:
·
Fluent in verbal
and written English language
·
Hospitality
related qualification preferred but not essential
·
Opera PMS
experience desirable (full training given)
·
Excellent
customer service skills
·
Previous
experience of handling customer complaints/requests desired
