ACJ Search are working with a high growth start-up based in Oxfordshire who are recruiting a Lead Aerothermal Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small organization at the early stage of their journey and make a real difference.
We are looking for a Lead Aerothermal Engineer with deep expertise in heat transfer as well as strong people management and mentoring skills. This is a hands on role that also has responsibility for the management and growth of a small team.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Lead design and analysis of thermal components / systems, including heat exchangers using advanced modelling tools (Ansys, OpenFOAM)
* Develop and implement heat transfer experiments
* Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams on R&D and engineering projects
* Oversee project timelines and deliverables, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Working closely with customers ensuring maintenance of strong relationships and expectation management
* Support, develop and mentor team members
