Opportunities vary from day‑to‑day cover to longer‑term placements, with both full‑time and part‑time options available depending on your availability.
Your new role
1. Delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that maintain continuity of learning across different classes and key stages.
2. Adapting quickly to new environments and following school policies, routines and planning where provided.
3. Supporting pupils of varying abilities, ensuring all children remain focused, motivated and on track.
4. Managing behaviour confidently and maintaining a positive, purposeful classroom atmosphere.
5. Contributing to the wider schoolmunity by modelling professionalism, flexibility and a proactive approach.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
7. Experience teaching across one or more primary year groups, with the confidence to step into different classes at short notice.
8. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
9. Secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching with limited preparation time.
10. Clearmunication skills and a collaborative, dependable working style.
