The Together for Families directorate provides support to children and families within the county.
Responsibilities
* Permanent full-time (37 hours) vacancy for a Business Support Assistant to support the Health Visiting and School Nursing Teams within East Cornwall (St Austell up to Saltash/Torpoint).
* Support clinical colleagues and ensure timely communications with service users and partner agencies.
* Perform a range of administrative tasks including use of spreadsheets, mail merging of documents, inputting/updating information on a Case Management system, diary management, arranging meetings, note-taking and booking of training for staff.
* Work a mix of office and home locations and support operational colleagues at Family Hubs as required.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* 4 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths; excellent communication and keyboard skills.
* Experience in an office environment is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff, service users and partner agencies; professional, discreet and diplomatic in approach.
* Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a busy team and meet deadlines.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
